Canada and spray

You can buy any spray material on the market provided you have taken a course and passed the requirments for a "spray licence"
Round up, par 3,many others readily available at the farm supply depots. Anyone can buy Round up at garden supply stores but it is the premixed diluted variety.

Oh its started there has it! Here in UK for quite a few years you cannot buy concentrated rat poison, you have to buy the pre-mixed stuff = you spend a lot of money on tail corn that has been coloured blue.

This is not true, at least not here in Saskatchewan. You can buy RU and most other chemicals at about any ag dealer. I've had trouble finding Reglone when it got in short supply a couple of years ago, but was only a short term issue.

Like others said, many provinces you need an applicators license. In NB you can"t buy it at all unless you"re a farmer or golf course owner.

here in Manitoba you can buy all the round up you want.Almost all farmers spray at least once a year.I have no use for it but that's just me.

Huh? News to me.
You do need a licence to buy chemicals here in Nova Scotia, and probably most other places... requires writing an exam for certification... which is not such a bad thing really... but Roundup is us used as widely here as anywhere else. Quite extensively.

Not true at all! In most provinces you need an applicator's license (a 1 day course/exam usually), but once you have that requirement you can buy all the Roundup/Clearout, etc. you want. As mentioned pre-mix diluted spray is available to anyone at hardware stores.
