Going to start next week on my corn but am curious as too how many of you are fairing. Sampling tests are coming in with 15-17% moisture, and test weights all around that 58# mark.

Corn is mostly done with yields of 45 and below 12 moisture.Beans are 15 to 20 per acre and 9.5 moisture with some green stems. If you look in a standing field 1/3 to 1/2 of beans are are shattered on the ground.

We did 215 acre of corn yesterday, one farm, corn on corn did 189 dry (the worst farm we have) and another farm did 205 dry, corn on beans.

Moisture was 15.5 on the first and 16.5 on the other. Both 100 day corn. We are by Northfield Mn.

The best crops we have ever had.

Very dry here this year but dry land corn made 65 bushels. We thought we were gonna lose everything. Beans not ready yet but looks very poor.

Just finished today. South central MN. Corn on corn 206 to 221 bu. per acre. Corn after beans 220 to 239 bu. per acre. Moisture was down to 13.5% today. 57 to 59.5# test weight. It'll be a while until we have another crop this good.

didnt break a 100bpa in any of the upland hi ground clay soil feilds ,Same places Last YEAR over all average was 168 here in s/central IND.,, Weather was hot, but almost decent Up until mid July it looked to Be as good a crop as 2009 , THEN IT QUIT RAINING , Got Hot as HELLEVERYDAMDAY, fried the corn down early , some guys were harvesting here aug 20th. beans aint yeilding worthadam with many shelled outonthe ground as thewindblows , in THE SAME FIELD near WATERWAYS THEY ARE TOO GREEN TO THRESH .out of thelast 8 yrs , 4 of them have been droughtstricken

NW Iowa, 60 miles from Minnesota border and 90 miles from South Dakota border. Corn is doing 190-240 BPA average. Wettest is 15.5. Weight is 56.3-58.6. Can't believe it. Even the corn that was standing in water for three weeks is doing 30 BPA. The low ground is the worst and the high ground is the best. Sandy spots that normally do 50-60 are doing no less than 160 on the monitor.Just sold the 190 bu corn for 5.23 January. You do the math. Jim

Our farm close to you did not break 100 either. It was corn on corn and planted April 23.

Closer to home, corn after beans planted May 30 made around 175 with 61 lb. test weight. I didn't think it would be very good because it was rolled tight during all those 100+ degree days.

The corn at home made 155, was also planted April 22, and never looked roll at all. Can't figure it out.

So far, beans are around 45-50, but we have not run the later ones yet.

I did the math. Wow!

Mama's gonna be pressin' for some of that new stuff she's been wanting in the house. Good luck trying to plead poverty!
