Is something burning?

Started up the truck loaded with beans and backed up to unload at my bin and smelled like plastic burning.I jump out looking for a fire in the truck and can't find anything.So i unload both trucks and run the combine for an hour then go to lunch.Well there was no water at the house when i got there.The well and pump is back at the barn and thats what was on fire.Burned up the preasure switch.

Well, at least you found it easily enough.

Years ago I was in my house and found a dead bird at the front of the furnace, cooked. Apparently it made a mistake at an inopportune time, and then afterwards fell down the flew or whatever its called, onto the floor. Weeks, months, whatever go by and one day I'm walking past the furnace and hear a bird scratcing and chirping and stuff and figure that another bird got caught again, but it sounded like it was coming from inside the encased area was for the blower. I tore into the furnace, taking stuff apart to get that bird out of there before it got burned up and maybe stunk my house up. Had the tools out, tore it apart and no bird. The bird was pirched up on top of the chimney and the noises it was making just travelled down into the furnace and sounded like it was in the furnace. Oh well, at least it got cleaned when I reassembled it.

You thought about it and found the problem. I didn't think about it and created a problem.
