hearted in my old age. I choke up every time I see another one of the miners reunited with his family. TDF

It is very heart warming. By the way (probably been asked before on this forum) are you named after the old Indian legend?

It is a fantastic rescue effort, with much help from American companies. Often wonder what the response would be in China, with their record of losses in their mines...their death rate in mines is the worst in the world. Would they even bother,....or just close it down?

My opinion - a miracle. They were able to locate them, drill a food/supply hole, then drill a hole big enough to get everyone out. Fantastic!

You are not getting soft, you are a man with a heart.I was an underground miner for 43 years so events like this hit very close to home. I was never trapped like those men but I and my crew were stuck in a shaft about 1700 ft below the surface when a thunderstorm and lightening blew out the substation that fed the job. Those were the LONGEST 18 hours in my whole life. 69 days!! It's mind boggling. Thank the LORD they all made it out OK.

Lot of great things in the World but I don't want to see them on all the news channels 24hrs a day.
When the news folks run out of things to say they really get stupid
