Farmall Super C carbon buildup

My farmall super c has some carbon build up on the spark plugs and on the exhaust pipe. More than usual is occurring. I plan on adding b12 chemtool to the gas tank. Any other ideas?

take the tractor and work it with a load.like plowing ,discing,bush hog. but make it work for an hour or so you will be suprised in the way it wil run after . old art

Carbon comes with fuel. If it is not burning there is too much fuel. Check the float level, and air cleaner and choke for correct operation. it should burn clean. If it smokes gray lingering smoke, it probably needs new sleeves and pistons. If it smokes only at idle, and start up it could need valve seals (not stock, but work) and or valve guides. Jim

I hook my superC up to the feed grinder now and then. Don't seem to have a carbon problem. Maybe your just need to work yours now and then too.
