I am wanting to mount additional lights on my tractor and was looking for the light relay. If it has one, I did not find it. I was wanting to either tie into it or mount an extra one rith beside it fot he new lights. By the way, where is the flasher fuse while I am at it.

I assume it has the same basic electricals as a 1086. If the two are the same there is no relay for the lights. There is only a twenty amp glass fuse that gets tired and melts once-in-awhile with just the factory light setup and no more. When the fuse gives up the ghost the only light you will have to drive home on is from the four ways. There was an updated fuse block available with supposedly stronger clips that held the fuse tighter to solve the melted fuse problem but the one I put in didn't do much good.

The relay you see below the fuse panel is for the cab only. If you add lights connect to the battery side of the cab relay and add your own fuse/ breaker and a seperate switch. Jim

Not what your looking for..... BUT have you ever thought about putting a turbo on that thing? My B.I.L did it to his. Took all the nesecery parts off a bone yard 1086 and swaped everything out. His injection pump was in very good shape so he just gave the fuel screw a good "twist". Made a completely different animal out of it. Gained 20hp on the dyno AND uses 1/3 less fuel than it did before, doing all the same chores. This is his "yard" tractor, so it gets A LOT of work.
