john deere A 1943 value

I"m looking at a 1943 jd A,It has the high low trans
tire"s ok,holds air,sheet metal bent up in front,no fenders,runs and starts fine, electric start,but the fan has a rattle by that clutch ,not sure what it is.
What kind of money should it be worth??
He"s asking $1200.

A better one than that brought 800 at a sale sat. Hi low trans was standard good shape and running would be around 1200 or less it all depends on location trucking ect and can you work on it yourself it goes on and on. Just because it is a John Deere doesent mean its worth a lot as plenty of them around depending on where you are.

Well,I can drive it home.
Are the A"s worth less the other deere's?
I was looking at an A a few years ago,and the value of thats was,what did it weigh.
