Any one in central MN going on beans

My renter started a few days ago, was 12.8. We share a field, and he took off my portion this morning- monitor showed 67 bpa. I"ll be combining the balance of mine. Been in corn for 8 years, lots of fertilizer during that time, nothing this year. Two apps of RU, one with aphid spray. Switched to beans to get away from yield drag on continuous corn. Never dreamed of a yield like that, although weather has been good, rains timely. Will be interesting to see what my other fields do- all CC for 8 years.

Followup- our moisture was 12.2, called the renter to see what his side of the field averaged...more than 9 bpa under. His field history is rotating corn/beans each year, and got better corn than I did in recent years (30-40 bpa) with less fertilizer on the corn. I guess I recovered some of the fertilizer this year...would like to go another year of beans before going to corn/soy. BTW- since we both planned for beans this year, I said why should we each have end rows, etc, I"ll hire you for tillage, you plant the same beans straight through...he does my spraying, again at the same time. He used his GPS to split the fields, harvest each side separately.
