went to the specialist for more tests today He gave me medicine to shrink the prostate and said come back in two more weeks for one more test He thinks everything will be ok

My dad had to have a catheder (sp) for 2 months. Then they as he says went in up threw his tool and reemed him out and He tells everyone He would do it again nothing to it. and he pees like he did when he was 15n

I was talking to a naturopath a few weeks ago about what causes enlarged prostrate. His take on it was that it is a natural reaction of the prostrate to enlarge and protect the family jewels from toxins, likely heavy metals. So his first defense is to do a heavy metal cleanse as well as liver cleanse to see if the enlargement decreases.
Maybe all the smog and pollution is finally catching up to us.

Larry, I'm 58. 4 years ago I had the lazer roto router procedure instead of the microwave or the knife procedure. The recovery was shorter and after effects were projected to be less damaging. I was fine for about 4 months and then I reverted back to the way I was before the procedure. I put up with it for 3 years and then I went back to get the knife procedure. During the work-up exams they found I had a small site that was cancer. I had a radical prostetcomy on Nov 11th last year. Catheter for 2 weeks, back to work by Jan 3rd. I had good bladder conroll because I did the keegle excersises the Dr gave me. Peed like a 20 year old again. Still haven't got back sessual function. I have dry organism but if the flag doesn't go up the flagpole, then no one salutes it. If the antenna doesn't extend then you get no reception-you get my point. So I go in next week for the implants. My BIL in SE Ohio has the same story. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS "NERVE SPARING" RADICAL PROTATECTOMY. Never heard of ONE guy who got it back. Larry this may sound strange but try taking some cranberry pills and or drinking a glass or 2 a day of cranberry juice every day it help with that type of problem. Sure did help me when my PSA levels went sky high

Keep us informed. Those of us who haven't been afflicted yet probably will be some day. The more information we have now, the better we'll be able to handle it when the time comes. Jim

looked the size of a magic marker I wasn't real happy.

I am glad they did it because thy got a piece ov meat the size of an eraser off the inside of my bladder and it was cancer -- Been clear two years now.
