Pics. Wierd Weather Today, Wasn't Tornado Though!!

The Emergency Broadcast System was cutting in on our local radio station all after noon with Tornado watch for Central and Eastern NY. Well that didn't happen!! Some places got some heavy downfalls though. Here at my house I got .31in" since midnight, according to my Davis Weather Monitor, but at 3:34 it was raining at 2.4"/hr., but only for about 5min. while the sun was shining, thus I shot these pics. from my back yard. Some of you may remember a similar post about a month ago. Temp. dosn't know where it wants to be, 40s at night some nights near 90 during day. It was 76 when I shot pics, supose to be same tomarrow , but mid 50s high Sun.

I live In Verona, south of ya. Got some real strong wind and on and off rain. I'm logging in northern Madison county and had to stop because of wind and the rain they had was doing my job for me. Ground was saturated and the tree's were up rooting. Was 90 last friday. Been a weird year.

we were on the fringe of the tornado watch, but other than a few showers, we were able to work outside all day. our sky wasn't as pretty as yours, and by 4 the sun was out.

Looks like the pot of gold might be right there in your garden by the mini-excavator. I would fire that thing up and start digging.
