I was the "B" 2 tractors ahead of you on the bridge , but not the one with the flag you are refering to. There was a Farmall "M" and an AC and then an unstyled "B" JD and then a mile gap. I don't think the US "B" had an overdrive and as such could only go 7 mph wide open road gear. This , in my opinion , is the reason for the mile long gap.I never was able to get wide open in high with mine (which is only 10 mph)on the whole ride. I thought that is why they specified a 10 mph min speed capability. Oh well , had fun anyway. People just need to follow the rules or there might not be a bridge crossing in the future.
