Well if any body stops in in the near future you might learn first hand. I just canned another 7 pints of jalapeno jelly and hope this time it gets thick like it should. And tomorrow I get to start a batch of hot Chili for the church chili cook off and hope I can win again this year. This year mine will have 4 different hot peppers in it. Jalapeno, chili, salsa and Tabasco plus deer meat so I hope it turns out sort of like last years. You took one bite and waited a minute for the burn to catch up to the taste and from there on look out because it was going to get hotter fast

Not sweet, Rich, but can some of those Jalapenos with carrots sliced lengthwise in a sweet pickle mix. Jalapenos are great on a sandwich and those carrots will take the top of your head off.

I think I have tried both so not sure yet which is better. I do know the recipe calls for liquid peck ten (sp) and my first try was with powder and that did not seem to work well

Sounds like some wicked chili to me. I don't think I could handle all those peppers at once. Ever see Wild Hogs and the chili scene where the girl tells the guy "It's ok your throat isn't actually on fire".

I have a grandson that is almost 6 yrs old. He loves hot stuff. Jalapeno jelly is all he wants as far as jelly goes. My wife and I just canned some taco sauce with jalapenos, onions, tomatos, cilantro ,garlic, and oregano, all out of our own garden. It is pretty spicy, gets your attention. He calls it soup. Eats it out of a bowl with a spoon.
