Pics of veiw from home

ChrisinMo wonted to know if we had any hills in Austrailia from my earlier post of the cotton picking trip so i charged up the camera and took some shots from the back yard. The home farm is on the creek flat withe the creek just 200 meters from the back of the sheds. 1st time it has had water in it for 18 months. Have more land thats on some of these hills in the pics. Not to many steep hills round here but further up the valley they get steeper. Very green for this time of year just come out of our best winter in probly 10 years and the weeds are going mad full time job chasing them.

I was going to say I hadn't seen OZ that green in quite a while. We left in '76, heard the downs was hit with a bad drought shortly after that.

Very interesting. Would like to see the bottom of the world someday.Australia has a rich history. Was just watching WWII documentary about Australia's role in the Great war. The Aussie's have always stood shoulder to shoulder with us Yanks in times of trouble. Can't say that about many countries anymore. Enjoyed the pics and would love to see more.
