A friend of mine has a Greyhound threshing machine that was made for threshing beans,it is on steel wheels, the machine needs alot of work,Is there any value to a Greyhound?

Hi Guys
Greyhound also made a steam engine that seemed
to be well thought of by folks who had them.
Wuld,nt they make a nice pair!!

Don't know about the Greyhound thresher or steamer, but it seems to me that there is a early Allis (22-35 maybe? The model slips me now) that was "worked on" a little bit and rebadged as a Greyhound.. sold and "worked on" by the C.C. Banting Co., of Toledo Ohio. There used to be one in a barn not far from here, and as far as I know, still there.. Many have tried to purchase it, but the current owner is hanging onto it in hopes of restoring.

Banting was also a large Allis dealer for many years, from what I have read and have been told.. Personally I'm too young to recall anything of such..
