cam timing on ford 8n

is it possible to get the cam timing wrong on a ford 8n?

yep...i dont know of any engine that can't be timed wrong.

1 mark on cam gear and 1 mark on crank gear but if you don't line the up right timing will be wrong. napaguy

if you want to check the cam timing w/o taking the front cover off.take off the side plates and turn motor to tdc.. # 1 and4 valves should be completely closed.if one of them is open,the cam timing is wrong
