I came across this old tractor on a neighbors ground in the timber one year. Can anyone identify it?

Not much DOUBT , that is is an EARLY FARMALL *M*.

Farmall M with rear steel wheels. Impossible to know what year. The steel wheels could be put onto any of them.

There is still life in it, the trees have not grown up through the frame rails. That old M can run again. It is however a project of intensity. Jim

Every year since I first found it in the timber I have had an inkling to try and retrieve it. I don't think the landowner would mind one bit. But it is in the timber a good 300 yards. I suppose the old road which has just saplings growing could be cut out and could be drug out. hmmm I'll have to think about it more.

Now that it has been shown here you might give thought to allowing others on the forum to have a chance at that fine repairable unit. A little gasoline, a bit of checking levels and it lives. (sure!) Jim
