Yep, read where billonthefarm was having a birthday today and doing what he loves most. SO, thought we would go past a couple of his fields, goin that way anyway, just to see to see if we could get a doughnut!

WELL, spotted a tractor and couple of wagons - recognized the guy in the tractor, so we went back. Yep, Travis says Bill should be coming out soon as they were combining the back end rows.

Had a real nice, but short, visit with them BUT didn't get to meet Wrigley or a doughnut!

Don't know what I was thinking (prolly in awe) but didn't get a close up picture of Bill. Not the best, but does anybody recognize this guy?

Hint: Full time fireman and tractor collector - part time farmer helpin billonthefarm!

It sure was a pleasant suprise to hear the "kruser" was waiting for me at the other end of the field.
It was my pleasure to meet you Jim and thanks for the birthday wishes. We had a nice day and things went well. I told wrigley you were looking for him and as far as the doughnuts, well after we had supper in the shop tonight, they are pretty well gone!
How was Argyle?
Lots of corn picking going on over that way?
We moved to another farm before it got dark but just now coming home we noticed lighting off to the north west in the sky.
Enjoy your holiday, I hope we get to keep picking corn for the holiday!

Nope - One guy running corn around Fiatt and a couple of fields opened up around Bushnel (down) and Roseville (back). Didn't see anything around Macomb.

Lake Argyle was disapointing with the change - glad it wasn't hot. Watched tractor pulls mainly and don't think they had more than bout 4 per class. Allis was the featured tractor but was low turn out. Thanks to our state!
