dang it, broke a tractor today

helping the neighbor haul junk out of his woods, caught a stump whlie carrying an old ford pickup with my minnie and his 4020. any body got a left front spindle for a minnie big mo 500???? emails open. yuma is mad at me cause he has to walk back to the barn, he likes riding in the loader.

Chain the end of the axle to the loader lift arm,raise the bucket and slowly drive it on home on one wheel on the front.Ought to work don't you think?
 
Actually, I worked at a vessel shop that had something similar break on their forklift. They took it apart beveled it and welded it back together with 7018 and never had any more problems. It was an MF4500 forklift that did a lot of heavy work. Dave
 
If you can't find a spindle, might consider putting on a heavy front truck axle. I salvage not far from me did that to a large farmall and he picks up tractors with his.
 
I'm not a Minnie Mo expert by any means, but I thought Minnies of that age used a lot of the same components as the Olivers. Maybe the spindles are interchangeable?
 
The front axle from an W-9 or i-9 might do it.
it might take the whole thing, and some adjustment with the flame thrower. They do look similar. That assumes it is permissible to crossbreed. Jim
