We got a bunch of rain down here, but only a couple of periods of heavy rain. The rest was slow and steady. I didn't realize how much it had rained elsewhere until I was on my way into Springfield on Thursday to do some work and they had part of the highway closed due to standing water.
Its been a rather slow for work summer for me and I'm glad the rain on Thursday held off long enough for me to get a days paying work in.
