Modifying Allied 395 loader to hold sheets of plywood

We're building a couple of outbuildings whose roofs are too high for my old Massey Ferguson 35 to reach with its loader and manure bucket. The Tafe 351 has an Allied 395 on it with a regular snow bucket, though, and it would have enough height to save a lot of ladder work. The bucket has some holes machined into the bottom surface as though you can bolt things to it.

Any suggestions on how to rig up a pair of small pallet forks to hold sheets of plywood and bundles of shingles? It's a 5', 15 cu.' bucket.

Thanks,

Rod

some folks mite think i'm nuts but i was helping neighbor put some 3/4 sheets up on his roof and i stuck 4 sheets in bucket long ways and used a nylon strap and chain to secure the loose end to top of bucket hooks...worked great...saved 2 old fartz alot of ladder work.

Sound like a couple old guys that painted and fixed some stucco on our house. Had me put a ladder in the bucket along with one of them and raise him up so he could work off the ladder in the out of the way spots.

He did all the work while I ran the tractor but I was wore out and my nerves were shot by the time he was finished.
I could see that idea for the plywood working though.

You could bolt a couple of 2x6 or whatever to the bucket, but ya gotta watch how much weight you put on it. I just used my Kubota to push some plywood up on my neighbor's roof. Only one story, just put it in the bucket.

I bolted a couple of 50" pieces of 1.5X8" white oak to the bucket. They hold well when I chin myself on the end of each, so should have enough strength to lift the plywood. Thanks for the advice.
