JD A,,,,, Wide Front,

It depends if your tractor has a split pedestal or not. If it does, it is basically a bolt and unbolt.Unbolt the tricycle(4 bolts), bolt the wide front to the tractor, and attach the steering arm to the steering post with the 4 bolts you took out. If it doesn't have a split pedestal, the whole tricycle steering post will have to be removed,(grilles off, steering shaft off)and a wide front complete with steering post installed, reshim the steering bearings, steering shaft, grilles etc back on.
You will need a hoist or a loader to do do either one, trying to hand maneuver a wide front around is about the equivalent of trying to shove a noodle up a cats a$$

Hi, if it were a SPLIT PEDESTAL EQUIPED TRACTOR, you would not be askig , which would be an easy change so i assume it needs the complete assy changed out, , FIRST of all the wide front will be EXPENSIVE , second you will probably TWIST OFF one or more of the PEDESTAL to FRAME STUDS, now still INTERESTD in a SWITCH??????? Have a nice DAY.

........."trying to shove a (wet) noodle up a cat's a$$"......thats the funnyest thing we've heard in a looonnngg time! We'er still laughing! Thanks

I swapped wide fronts from my 720 to 730. I had pretty good luck with using a atv/motorcycle lift to maneuver it.

Although, if I'd had a hoist or loader I would have used those.
