OT Iowa state Fair

Always loved going ! The 4H restored tractors , new tractors and equipment , lots to see .
No more . This year a large 40 -100 of black youths were terrorizing whites . They were pushed out of the fairgrounds but once outside escalated . They were beating any whites they came across . Stabbed couple people ,, even attacked police officers . DM PD is downplaying race and hate crime angle . DOH They were screaming Kill Whitey ,,and proclaimed friday night as "Beat Whitey Night " What has happened to DesMoines ? I'm gonna miss the fair , but will not put family at risk ,,just not worth it .

I was there last saturday afternoon and night, never heard about this. The way things are these days, I'm not real suprised. The Iowa state fair is a good time and there were plenty of old tractors to drool over.

i quit goin cause they have made it to commercialized, its all about the all mitely dollar now.
just wait a few years an there will not be any old tractors there. they have trying to force out the dealers for several years.

Two of my friends where beat up and put into the hospital last Wed. They are 68 and 72 years old. It has the daylights scared out of them. They will not even drive into town. The big problem it that ALL OF THE GUILTY where BLACK!!!!!!!! But we can"t say anything about it because that is racist.
I drive a semi part time. We will not drive in the area around the state fair ground after dark. Have had two windshields broken by thrown rocks/bricks.
Too many childern without fathers to put a boot to their butts. I had to have some corrective actions with both of my kids when they where teens. Todays left wingers think that a father is an unimportant requirement.

How not could you have missed hearing about the problem. Its been on the radio and in the newsthey just arent telling the whole story catch some interviews with those who were there.

I gotta call "Balony" on that. I was raised on the East side and a more generous group of people you won't find anywhere. Go four miles West and you wouldn't get an argument from me. There are very few dark fellers on the East side. There are a lot of hispanics that are good people. No problems with them. The dark fellers that invaded our turf won't be allowed to return, you can bet on that. BTW, one guy getting pounded on by these cowards was rescued by a half dozen bikers from the Maingate Lounge. Kinda neat, when you think about it. Like that "Bikers for Christ" group you hear about.

Under stand the HS drop out rate is equal to Detroit in the 50% range and suppose drugs are in the picture. Drake is in the center of the sink hole. Guards in the 7-11's stores in that area several years back. My father was raised in West Des Monies then know as valley junction in the 20's. Has changed, but not for the better. Iowa now has many new laws that many flock to the state to joint up and also put O in the white house. Great state of gravel roads and taxes. When asked where I am from I now state Missouri rather than Iowa.

Friends of mine were victems of a home invasion in Dsm this week . Woke up at gun point , robbed , tied up , they caught them ,5 black youths 15-18 .

There is a lot that is not being told:

When I was a state patrolman, every year I had to work the IOWA STATE FAIR: a lot happen'd at the fair that went untold. PIMPING-DRUGS-BOOT LEGING-
THEFT-RAPE'S-STABINGS just to name a few.
The reason we were not to broad cast it, because
they did not want to give the state fair a bad name, or make the STATE FAIR LOOK BAD.

I worked there for 16 yeas and it was the same every year. I as a patrolman would think they would have made a few changes over the years
but no all they want is the money.

I do not waist my time there any more for nothing. It is not worth it.
This one reason I beleave in CWP.

You where raised in East Des Moines. How long ago??? The problems around the Fair grounds have just started in the last three or four years.
I was talking to an ADM company driver, just this week. He said that they had one driver beat up over there just a month ago. He had a flat and was out checking to see what to do. He was beat hard enough that it broke his eye socket and now he has double vision. He might not ever get his eye sight back to normal. He has had to give up his CDL until he can pass the vision test.
So until that area is cleaned up I will drive around it.
