What kind of electrical problem? 8N didn't come from factory with many wires.

Generator has been rebuilt, new voltage regulator. polarized same. No positive amps at amp meter, only negative when I put a load on the system. Example starting tractor. Any suggestions ?

My first check would be to put a voltmeter across the battery to see IF you are charging from the rebuilt genny. If no increase in voltage you need to check for correct connections when you re-installed it.Very well could be a bad regulator or a bad rebuild.
