Wisconsin engine TJD

I have a Wisconsin TJD on my mower. I"m have a problem that I can seem to fix. Runs for 15-20 minutes then dies. After that I can"t seem to get it started. Let it set for 30 min and runs again for 15 minutes. Put carb kit on. New plug wires and plugs. Made sure gas line is not pluged and the carb is getting gas. Has good spark when its running runs good.

Bad condensor will do that.

Could be the coil or electronic module. When it quits pull off a plug wire and see if you have fire to your plug. Hal

You are describing a failing magneto coil.
When it gets hot it quits, or works intermittent.
Replace the magneto coil,(and may as well change
the points and condenser as long as you"re in there).
If you have a coil type ignition, your coil may
be failing.
Parts for WICO and Fairbanks-Morse magnetos are
available through this,(YT) website, and lots of
other sources
