Schramm Pneumatractor Update

We found that the fuel pump wasn't delivering enough fuel, so we made a block off plate and mounted an electric fuel pump yesterday. It is running much better and we can get it off idle now. Does anyone know what the spark plug gap should be on a model 160?

Thanks,
Greg

Don"t have a listing, but most older gas industrials list .025, so start at .025; if doesn"t sound smooth try .030 (IH liked .028-.032) or even up to .040 (Chev liked some .040"s). If nothing seems satisfactory try back down to .020, as a few list that small a gap. That"s pretty much the whole range. Good luck.

Think it was their own make and it was a combination engine and piston type air compresser with the pistons all on the same crankshaft, just different valving for the air compressor and of course no spark plug on those cylinders.

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread. Greg, do you still have the Schramm. I am looking for info relating to that motor.
