plessey power steering pump on MF20 rebuilt now no pressure

This pump is on my MF 20 To start it was working fine but leaked oil back into the engine. So I took it off and put new seal and gaskets in it. Now there's very little to no pressure. What happened?

Did you bleed the air out of the system after reinstalling the pump??? They will not pump correctly if they have not been bleed. Look at your oil after it runs for a while. If it is faomy then it has air in it. You will need to let it set for a few days and then bleed the system at startup.

Thanks for the information JDseller. I didn't see that in the repair manual it just said to work the steering then add more oil if needed. What is the proper way to bleed the system? There doesn't seem to be any bleeder valves.
