(quoted from post at 11:59:40 08/20/10) My guess is a McCormick-Deering 15-30 or 22-36 based on the shape of the radiator and the overall size of the tractor.

Didn't both the 15-30 and the 22-36 have side curtains that covered the engine?

I think maybe it is an Allis-Chalmers.

They had side curtains from the factory. 95% of the side curtains were taken off on the first hot day and were never put back on.

I can't tell the picture is too far away but most of the aforementioned tractors had the manufactuares name enblazoned on top of the radiator. My eyes aren't so good anymore.

My guess is this is an early McCormick Deering 22-36 from around 1932-36 looking at the firestone tires. The 15-30 in 1929 was updated to 22HP Drawbar and 36 Brake HP and called by most every one except IHC the 22-36. IHC still refered to the 22-36 as the 15-30 not wanting to lose the reputation the 15-30 had accumulated. Usually McCormick Deering stands out at the top of the Radiator but is not evident here.A picture from Tractor House of a 1930 15-30 on steel is attached.Turned out sort of fuzzy but you get the idea.JH

I have to admit, I first thought it was one of the really old Allis-Chalmers that were green.

My vote is the 15-30 or 22-36. True that the side curtains went off during the hot weather. My dad said how unbearable it was if they were down and the heat went back on the driver. Used to be hooks to hold open I belive, but easire to take off. I seen how my dad used to slip a wire pin and off they came off his 15-30.

Don't think it's a 15-30 or 22-36. Looks like the exhaust exits below the radiator. Hold your CTRL key down and rotate the scroll knob on your mouse to enlarge the pic. Looks like a Huber or something like that.
