Well I hooked up the sprinkler last and started watering my garden. Well about 30 minutes later it started to rain. Got about 2 inches of much needed rain and so far today it isn't 100 out. Oh by the way we set a record yesterday with a reading of 101, broke the old record form 2007. That is as per Springfield MO weather men

Glad to hear somebody getting some rain that needs it. Im in south west corner of Ohio and all the rain gose north or south of us, from first of July till now we had about a 1/4 inch of rain. We got a 1/10 2 says ago and even the wet ground is cracked open pretty bad. Hope we get some soon beans realy need it. Bandit

Mid michigan here, and we went about 6 weeks without any rain. Same as you every storm split, half north, half south. One day in July I went south and it was a white out of rain just five miles down the road. this week was first rain .8 on Monday.

Here in N Ar we are starting to get very dry. The first 2 weeks of July we had 7 inches of rain but none since then, plus we've been upper 90's and a few days over 100.....typical Arkansas summer.

What part of Arkansas are you in?? Any where near hwy63 or I55??? I ask because the boy will be riding through that area tomorrow on his way back to Gulfport MS on his motorcycle and will be all alone on that ride from here at the lake of the Ozarks

WOW we just got 1 1/2 inchs of rain about 5 pm today, only bad thing was got it in 1 1/2 hours and no water in the ditches. Thank god for all we can get. Bandit

here in pa we got 2 inches plus. first rain weve saw in about 6 weeks good steady rain only problem is i forgot how to drive tractor on wet ground lol i got stuck on a banck trying to get a bale of hay nowhere to go so wife pulled me back up the hill

Rich, we did NOT get rain for the first time in I don't remember when. The 80% chance for thursday night evaporated and the 70% chance for yesterday went out the window. There was a chance of rain forecast for tonight but the NW wind came through and now it's crisp and clear and 66 degrees with dry air. Still had to go out of the way to get home from the threshing show because of water over the road.

Those guys at the Albert City show went through he!! fighting rain, mud and water getting ready for the show and now just in time for the opening day yesterday the rain quit and stayed away. They had a very good crowd today and tomorrow looks even better.Jim

Any chance you would send me an e-mail with your phone number so I could give it to my boy just in case he has trouble when he is down that way
