Does anyone know where I can find a replacement block for a Farmtrac 555? I am located in Fairmont WV 26554. The closer the better.

Thanks in advance,

Aaron

I think that's the copy of some Ford model and they were made in India. Call 864 682 3652 and see if they can advise you.

Probably your easiest option is to call a wrecking yard like Fawcett Tractor and acquire either a 175, 192 (3 cylinder) or 201 cid Ford engine from a 3xx0 series up to 4xx0 series tractor from one vintage or another. You'd probably find that any of them will work. Just pay attention to the flywheel/clutch diameter and the pilot bearing ID in the crank.

You might also get the correct short block through NH but I don't want to say that for sure because I haven't dealt with those tractors... I do know that they're built on Ford's old tooling from the 3600 and mabey some 10 series tooling... so something like an engine swap is probably straight forward. Internal components mabey not so much...
