I took some homework home with me today.
New hot water radiator/s for a bathroom I'm finishing up.
Sherwin Williams oil based paint that the customer bought. I threw in a little Valspar hardner and some lacquer thinner.
Viola!
I know she'll be happy with it and it was a lot less labor - nicer finish too - than than painting with a brush.
Sort of like putting your hobby to work for you. If I hadn't spent so much time painting on old cast iron I wouldn't have known how to mix and match to get an inexpensive but decent finish.
Two hours later everything is dry to the touch.
Hoping to install them tomorrow.
