I need some advice though on what wing shredder to by: A Bush Hog 3715 or a Rhino FN 15. I will be doing heavy shredding, small to medium trees and thick grass and weeds. I now the rhino can handle up to 5" brush and the bush hog 3 1/2". What I need to know is which one will hold up better under the conditions and over the long term.
Thanks, Alex

http://www.bush-whacker.com/ Find and call your nearest Bush-Whacker dealer. It is the heaviest and best made in the industry. I've had one for four years now. It is a seven foot hog and the gear box is rated for a 185 HP tractor. I have it on a 5510 John Deere with 75 HP. I shred four inch trees without any stress or strain. If you can drive over it; the Bush-Whacker will shew it up and spit it out. It is built with a heavy square tubing bar across the front and back to push over or run over anything. The hitch and deck are made for a much bigger tractor than I have it on. After four years there's not a dent in the deck. I've busted up rocks and trees and stumps that would choke another tractor and hog. No, I'm not a salesman, just a satisfied customer.

Going to look in to that brand. One of the places I'll be shredding has been unmaintained for a few years and has good tree/brush growth the other has a tough mesquite tree population and most are 1"-6" diameter but small in height. I just hope my old Oliver 1900 is up to the job.
