I saw one here last week.. Fresh killed on the road in the early afternoon, it was not there 2 hours earlier. I figure there is a good chance it was rabid, being out in the middle of the day.

I can't say that I've seen lots of dead foxes, but around here I see one ever so often. However, I never saw a coyote dead in the road until I moved to southern MO. I guess coyotes are slower or dumber around here?!

Sonsasguns are EVERYWHERE around here. See 4-5 a week, and have had to quit free-ranging my chickens because of it.

Not sure what caused the population explosion, but I know the )$#(* summer people feeding them ain't helping.

Between foxes and raccoons, we're headed for a rabies epidemic soon, IMHO.

Dunno about that. There are just so dang many of them around here, I see them in broad daylight all the time. Big, healthy sonsaguns, walking right up the side of the road with a "What are YOU looking at?" attitude.

I think overpopulation is driving them to hunt around the clock instead of keeping to their usual nocturnal habits.

I'll shoot any I see on my land, and I'm seriously contemplating doing a little poaching. Dasn't get caught tho, all the tree huggers will have a conniption fit. Probably better to let Ma Nature (and rabies) take it's course. Just aggravates me.

In Michigan, if they are after youre livestock, you can shoot them. On your property. Funny, I have heard for years how restrictive this state is, but after reading about how high taxes and regulations are in other states, I guess we aren't so bad after all.
