Getting closer to harvest, time to crunch some yield numbers

Went to stripping some ears today and doing some yield estimations. Tried several different spots in one field, looked pretty good. I just have to run these numbers to see how it is, I get anxious wondering if mother nature and my choices will make it work!

I looked at some fields this morning. Appears I should put some serious effort into getting things ready for harvest. The corn crop looks like it will be a good one but I sm suprised how fast it is coming along. We might start picking corn before we turn another page on the calendar. The earliest I remember picking corn was September 6 and if we can get everything ready we will be able to run before that this year.
