Guinness Record Broken 200 Combines

200 combines on 1 field today in Manitoba. It took a lot of work but they pulled it off. I hope the link works

I could be wrong but those look like Harvester not Combines to me.

Walt- They're combines w/ pick-up headers on them, the grain was swathed before the event. Not many combines with pickup heads like that around anymore, but we still have our oats combined like that. Just swathed our oats yesterday morning with a dew on it to not knock the grain off. Way too many weeds to even try straight combining this year.

Donovan, you need to take a trip to see your northern neighbors. Thats about all they use and many of them are pull types.

yep about half is still swathed and picked up to combine.I didn't go to the record brakeing as it don't impress me just to out due the next. Here where I live, AUSTIN MANITOBA they just broke the world record for the biggest usable plow.This was a joke,the plow had to be turned around by a skid steer and 20+ men so they could plow back to the other end.I don't call that a usable plow. KNow one will do that in a feild.

I like that they had some of the older Massey combines out there too, there use to be a lot of those around back in the 70's and 80's.

I was not involved in the organizing of this event but I do like the fact that it raised a lot of $$$ for kids less fortunate than us.Maybe you are not into that kind of stuff.
