Can any of you fine gentleman tell me how hard it is to change a fan belt on a Ford 2000 3cyl diesel with a front pump and loader? It looks to be a big job, unless I'm overlooking it. Anybody have any experience? Thanks in advance. Mike

they make a v belt that you can take apart, has riverts every inch or two, seen one on a sawmill last week, don't know where you can get them but if I was you Id be asking around, sure would be slick for a set up like you have.

You can unbolt the front pump and pull it forward about an inch so the splined shaft disconnects from the front pulley on the engine. Tie it off with a rope to a rafter in the garage etc and let hang there. No need to take apart any hyd lines. It shouldn't be a bad job other than having to reach in around the loader frame to thread the new belt over the fan etc.

Thanks for the info guys, now which one of you gentleman is going to come over and do it? LOL :>) Thanks Again Mike
