yup, was talking grain prices, sorry. Was quite mad time this forenoon. Locked on some really good prices on beans, and contracted more fall corn. So far everything I have contracted is higher than what I sold on average last year. I see things have petered out a bit since morning, with the exception of wheat/

Heard the Russian wheat crop is in trouble. Temperature in Moscow over 100 for the first time in records. Not sure why heat is bad for wheat, hotter than hell in KS and they grow a pile of wheat.

On some other forums, they feel it's a good thing if it peters out for a day or 2. More likely to go up if it stair-steps up, rather than giant leaps for a couple days in a row - only to peter out & drop like a rock again.

I sold 10% last Friday, like you, seems like a good deal at this time.
