kubota year serial number

i am looking at a kubota with a serial number of L175-18542 could someone tell me the year of this tractor, i think it is 17.5 hp. thanks.

Mike I started with kubota in 1979 and I think we only sold a few l 175.. Ican,t find anything on serial number but I am going to say 80 81 maybe. 30 year old tractor probably

They where only made from 1973 to 1975. They where rated at 17 hp. Eight speeds forward and two reverse. No live pto. Good little tractors but limited in what you can safely do with them. The shipping weight was only 1880 lbs.
