Radials or fabrics

Which wears better on my fwa. I'm talking the front axle and it is used mostly on the road pulling wagons to town. Right now I have fabrics and they sure wear down fast with road travel. Will I get enough better wear with radials to justify the higher cost?

Radials will wear longer. Don't know if you will see a large savings. If you run on the road most of the time put the tires on with the tread reversed. That's the best way to significantly increase tread life.

Is there any chance that a different style tread would last better? Maybe more of an industrial design as would be used on a backhoe? Maybe other designs in the right sizes aren't available....

Maybe tires like on a grader. I see that most graders now aren't using industrial tires but almost a truck tire tread. For an AG tire, you'd have to get a lot more life to justify the cost of radials. Dave

Firestone makes afront wheel assist tire for this application. They are radials and will out last anything else in the field or on the road.
