Tires

Anybody have a source for 12.4x26 tires? I know of a JD BO that has the sidewalls peeling apart.

Salvage yards with vary old smaller SP machines. Maybe even a JD 45 or 55- I have a small set of 26 from a 55. Bought some from an older Case machine that I used for front duals on the 4450 MFWD.

Deere never used that small. 12 -13.6 was the smallest they used and the 40 Deere used a 24" wheel.

I bought some new Firestone 13.6X26 tires for my JD BO. That's the smallest size 26" I could find. They fit just fine. They had them in the DFW mteroplex. They cost a lot less than Miller Tire's price.

I looked at the tractor yesterday and it had 11x26 on it. New number would be 12.4x26.

I was refering to the combines mentioned in the previous post that said tires from a 45 or 55 combine. Not for what is on your tractor.
