gleaner k2 head ??

i have a k2 with a 13 ft flex head i also have the 10 ft head with the draiper instead of the reel. i would like to take draper head and make it a regular 10ft grain table. dont need the 13ft head if i can get the other head to work. i do oats. cant find a head with a reel and not sure if i can take 13ft head a make 10ft head work. live in central pa. any suggestions.
 
You should be able to find a ten footer cheap for that K2. You could make your two heads into one 10 footer. It is going to take a lot of work and time. The reel will be your biggest problem. Plus your 13 foot flex head is more valuable than a 10 foot rigid head would be. Why don"t you just trade or sale and buy the head you want??? There is a big Gleaner dealer at Jeffersonville Ohio, Mayer Equipment. I bet that they would have one.
 
I have a K2 10 foot here in west central New Jersey with a floating cutter bar on it that I don't use. Cutterbar is shot. It has a good hume reel. I'd trade you the reel for the draper pickup.
 
cant get pic up my number is 814-659-0730 i can send pics of draper or pickup head. i have another sickle bar i dont have wobble box ?? or the reel.
