Could you possibly have a Bolens tractor with a Johnson Workhorse LOADER on it?

If it IS a Bolens, there's TONS of info at the site linked below.

Otherwise, a photo would sure help ID what you have!

Johnson Workhorse loaders were made to fit several different makes of garden tractor. What kind of tractor is under there?

Not familiar with that brand - perhaps as the other fella said that isn't the actual tractor brand?

If you follow Nascar a lot I understand your use of 'motor' but those tend to be electric things, I assume you have a gasoline engine. :)

A picture would really help, if you can do that. Or a careful description of the engine - # of cylinders, Vee or not, air or water cooled, size or hp.... I'd guess somewhere under the grease your engine has a serial plate on it with the manufaturer and model number.

Ok, that sounds about right but then why do they sell motor oil to put in an engine? Do they sell engine oil to be used in a motor? Can you use 3 in 1 oil on a motor, an engine, a door hinge, a bicycle, a clock, and a lawnmower? Then why not call it 6 in 1 oil? Very confusing.

What difference does it make if he calls it a motor or and engine? Everyone should know in this case what he is talking about. Looks like to me folks don't have enough to do when all they can do is find fault with what others say or do. On this site you have a lot of folks that can be very helpful and some that just want to point out mistakes or what they perceive as mistakes that others make. Maybe I need to spend more time using my boat and motor on the lake I don't know. The small things in life are just that small things.

I don't think anyone is making fun or jokeing about anyone. I get a good laugh out of some of the OT comments. Some times it takes a question on here to get ones mind off of being to serious all day. In general people on here are easy going and like to have a little fun every now and then .I say keep it up.

I have learn't alot just by reading all the comments and don't post many questions.

A feller that I usta know about (didn't know him personally) put a '''MOTOR''' in a automobile with the intention of driving it from Beverly Hills to Warshington, D.C. or summers on the East Coast. It worked fine, but he never actually got out of Beverly Hills.............ran out of extension cords.

The engine is a two cycliner. Turns a short drive shaft connected to the case (body has the transmission enclosed within) of the tractor. I've been told that the tractor is a Bolins with a Koler engine.
The engine is scrap. I'm looking to buy a used engine.

I'm gonna give Ford Motor Company and General Motors a call and tell them they got their names screwed up...
