2002 Chevy 2500 Update

Nope, didn"t haul a tractor this week BUT our truck runs now. Don"t know where I got the idea that a GM fuel pump would go out instaniouly (sp) but not the case. Took it to a GM dealer and got a new one under lifetime warrenty (other failed at about 40 K) - $50 for new fuel filter and ran all weekend.

Kinda think our"s likes tow truck however. Always seemed to start after/or when they were around. 14.9 MPG on 6.0 gas running 70+ empty with AC for 340 miles - yeah, kinda hot!

I always liked those lifetime warranty on items.
I had a Ward's lifetime battery and it failed
several times. No problem since I had the receipt. Hated to see them go under. Hal
 
kruser, i can always send smilin john down to give yer truck a ride on the flat bed!!! lessee....75 dollars for the hookup and 3 dollars a loaded mile.......hmmm may have enough to buy another tractor!!!!!
