Adding remotes to an 88' 3910

Forgive the double post, I posed this question on the Ford forum, but I thought someone here may know also. I know this tractor isnt exactly "antique", but maybe someone can help me. Mine came from the factory with no remotes. I just need one to opereate one double-acting cylinder. Been shopping around for new and used valves that mount to the top cover and been receiving some sticker shock. There seems to be a good sized port thats plugged in the factory block off plate. Could I not just simply plumb this to a much cheaper single spool valve mounted to the fender? If so, where would the best place to return fluid to? Any help would be appreciated.

Little more to it than that. You have to have a valve that has a power beyond function. As that block sits there it alows fluid to go on back to power the rear 3 point lift..You could find an adapter to get off the tractor there that will let you plum the valve up on the fender but will still have to dump the third line.
