Our neighbour has a 1490 Case. The cable to the pto clutch broke. She got a new one and can't get the lever on the left side if tractor to come back enough to hook the new cable up. Seems that it comes to a stop and that is it. We can't get the clutch to operate even by hand Does anyone know how this will hook up. The cable is the proper length. Just seems something in the trans won't let the lever to move back far enough. Any input, please and thank you.
