Close to 100 in NE CT.WE need the water also.Grass is looking mighty thirsty. Thanks for posting the pictures of the farm the other day.Really enjoyed them.

Same here in Va. I'm on the south side and everything is burned to a crisp. Burning bans going up in a lot of counties. If it isn't irrigated it'll burn.

Hay Larry; I have BTDT. Talked to my son again tonight, Another skip form pour today on 10' sidwalks today. A bit easier because they were pouring the skips. Hotter today than yesterday. The big boss came buy like you mentioned the other day on your job, and told the crew how good the project looked. A bit of a lift for all of them.I can not hack that work any more!Pouring and finishing concrete is a young man's job.

here in Iowa .. we are WET and HIGH humitiy .. feels like 90s or 100s ...
Everthing is green and if it's not under water it's growing ...
wanted to mow the yard today ... and evertime it got close to dry enough ... we got another shower ... over 3 inches here in the past 2 days ... places had over 7 inches ..

I am from Upstate, NY...was stationed in Yuma...apples to oranges! 120 degrees there is not nearly as bothersome as 65 degrees here due to humidity...approacged high 90s here last couple days. The other difference is that you folks are used to heat as you get it on a consistent basis...we don"t! My body was used to the heat there and at night 55 degrees I was wearing longjohns, or we would hop over the Mts to San Diego and find it chilly on the beach @ 70 degrees...here in the NE 55 at night is tee shirt and shorts comfy and 70 is a good warm day.

Same here in S.E. Ohio, high 90s & low 100's all week with no rain since I finished with 1st cutting of hay (figures LOL). Watering garden daily but if we don't get rain soon I don't think there will be a 2nd cutting. Keith
