My thrower keeps burning off the strings. Any suggestions?

Check to see weather it is top or bottom that is burning. there should be an adjustment to move the top belt forward or back about an inch so that both top and bottom belts engage the bale at the same time.

once your bale gets past about 30 inches long you need to pay attention, you can make a long bale go through the kicker but you better be keeping the baler in a good size windrow to keep the bales progressing through at a good pace.
