Been beating my brains out when horses finish on a pasture to cut leftover weeds and drag a harrow around to spread the manure. Had a small piece that was really bad and about half swallowed with stinging nettle. After the horses wiped out everything they would, I went in with a scythe and knocked down the nettle and some weeds, let a couple back in a couple days later to wipe out the cut nettle and was ready to do my ritual. County (comparison) guy was mulching a rite of way and I joked that he could do my piece too (About 1/4 acre).Said he was out of cigarettes so I went to the machine in town and got him a pack, by the time I got back he was about finished. Our pastures never looked that good before. Manure all scattered and you couldn't tell there had been any kind of animal on it.
