Deere 8850 w/Koyker loader

Hello!
Back in September of 1983, I attended the Farm Progress Show near Strawberry Point, Iowa. I remember seeing a new (at the time) Deere 8850 with a Koyker (or Great Bend) front-end loader. Does anyone else remember seeing this, or better yet, does anyone have a photo of this? I have some photos from that show, but not one of this incredibly-large loader. Enjoy a safe and Blessed week!

Nieghbors had a 8850 with the westendorf on it, I had heard that their tractor was the one taken down to westendorf and used for the test mule for the 1st loader, but don't know that for a fact.

We are only about 40 miles from westendorf though....

Only 7000 lbs. lift capacity isn't very much for a tractor that size. You would have more lift capacity on a larger front wheel assist tractor. Would be interesting to see how the loader holds up after a few years. Dave
