Not sure about taxes . We live in Marion ,2 hrs away . We lease land where cabin is for camping /deer hunting etc . Great get away . Upper Iowa river boarders one end of property , 600 acres of timber and trails . Wonderfull place . 30 miles from missisippi river

very few , nice breeze all weekend kept them away . high of 87 ,perfect weekend on the water .

Did you put in in Decorah? That must have been one of the only days this summer where the river wasn't swollen with muddy runoff.

We put in at Mark Howe's landing and took out at Upper Iowa campground on 76 . We have put in at east side of Decorah and went to upper dam before. The lower dam area is really neat, old power plant used to be there . Upstream by Bluffton is amazing ! Yea we lucked out , water was up yet , but cleared up a lot . Least we we not dragging bottom .
