It is very dry in our area in Pa,but the garden is still doing ok. We picked the last of the sugar peas,a nice batch of yellow string beans , lots of green and yellow zuchinni, pattypan squassh andyellow summer squash. Did a lot of weed wacking, some mowing, and ended the day with a flat tire on the front of the ford

Very nice garden. How do you keep the deer and rabbits out of your garden? Mine is a disaster this year due to these varmints.

just been lucky, but I dont know how much longer If you look at our other post you see the deer we saw yesterday , right close to the garden

Here in SE AZ we have trouble with the Quail. Rabbits can be fenced out but the quail fly over the fence and if I don't put a wire basket over whatever just sprouts they bite off the new sprouting leaves. They don't touch them after they are a couple of inches tall.
